Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone
Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

Tuesday, June 30, 2015 - Happy 25th Anniversary!

and today...

We spent a very busy weekend attending a wedding, and then heading to Savannah, Ga for the GMA conference.

Daddy and Mommy before heading to a wedding in South Carolina at Duncannon Plantation.

Then Mommy, Daddy, Joseph, Julie, and Rosie headed to Savannah for a dinner party where the little girls passed around Shakerock Farm's goat milk soaps as door prizes.

Of course, we visited the candy shop for bags of goodies.

Joseph volunteered to let Mama and the little girls shop in Savannah while Daddy attended the conference.

And he was a fine escort on the ferry boat back and forth across the river.

And while waiting for the "Taste of Savannah" dinner party, Daddy and the little girls helped paint a colorful mural.

Today on our anniversary, Kenny and I drove home with the other 3 Green children. Kenny surprised me with this exquisite silver box of gourmet chocolates. We sampled a few already on the drive home :)

And this is what was sitting on the counter when we got home from our sweet children...

After a delicious Japanese steakhouse dinner, everyone enjoyed some ice cream and dunkin' donuts' for Mama's birthday celebration :)

Charles was very happy to be reunited with his Mommy and Daddy today during a visit to the hospital.

He especially enjoyed meeting his sweet, little brother.

Afterwards (according to the Green family tradition) you must celebrate a new baby's birth with...

ICE CREAM!

Monday, June 22, 2015 - Happy Birthday James!

We are thankful that another healthy grandson was added to the family today.

Our newest little blessing weighed in at 9 lbs 2 ozs. Mom, Dad, and baby are doing well. Thanks for the prayers!

Thomas enjoyed making cucumber salad for lunch while the little girls supervised:)

Then after lunch, it was time for more swimming...

and pool snack breaks.

Swimming in the afternoons builds up a big appetite for...

a fresh-from-the-garden cucumber snack.

This past week has been filled with lots of flowers,

and lots of

swimming!

Everyone has been enjoying working on the above-ground pool project this past week. Notice we have all levels of helpers, even down to the "overseers" in the back of the truck snacking on ice cream cones...

The Green crew spread and leveled LOTS of sand.

Then it was time to support the sides,

and watch the pool begin to fill.

Autumn Faith needed a little boost to watch the water level rise.

Tonight we celebrated Grandma's birthday with gifts...

and birthday ice cream cones.

We spent this past Saturday at Fort Yargo State Park for Kenny's company picnic.

Everyone enjoyed participating in relay games, water sports, throwing grenade water balloons,

and posing for pictures with "Uncle Ben".
