Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone
Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

SRF

This past weekend we enjoyed playing with Charles,

SRF

and watching him intently studying the thesarus.

SRF

Autumn Faith was excited to experiment with Benjamin's hand made sled with metal runners in the snow Saturday morning.

SRF

Julie and Rosie occupied themselves with snowball fights.

SRF

And a fun game of crokinole was a great way to end the day...

I found this sweet sight when I entered my room today...

Today Charles and James visited for the afternoon. Benjamin flew his drone around the house and Charles was quite enamored with it.

SRF

The Green family spent an enjoyable evening with the Cox family and Cody Seaman. The boys played a game of football before dinner...

SRF

and some of the younger children visited together talking,

SRF

playing games and a lap harp.

SRF

Cody stepped right in to play bass with the Green band,

SRF

and Carolyn showed Emily a few chords to join in too.

SRF

Karen was a natural on the bass from her younger cello days. I believe the evening was delightful for all!

Monday, January 11, 2016 - Happy 23rd Birthday Daniel!

SRF

Yesterday evening we celebrated Daniel's 23rd birthday. Everyone spent an enjoyable evening laughing,

SRF

talking, and playing board games. We pray the Lord blesses Daniel and his family richly this year :)

SRF

After Christmas, the Green Family headed to Jekyll Island to bring in the New Year.

SRF

Unfortunately, when we arrived Thomas had some difficulties from a cold virus, and Kenny and I visited some Prompt Care clinics and the ER twice, while Carolyn and Joseph took the rest of the family for walks along the beach.

SRF

Carolyn sent pictures of the treasures the Green kids found to my phone so Thomas could be included while receiving his breathing treatments at the ER.

SRF

Poor Thomas was not feeling like himself at all...

SRF

All of the crazy pictures

SRF

of Thomas' siblings

SRF

definitely put a smile on his face.

SRF

Sweet sisters sending their love.

SRF

Some of the Green family enjoyed watching fireworks (and drawing in the sand) on the beach for New Year's Eve.

SRF

We were all very thankful Thomas felt like visiting the Jekyll Club for New Year's Day dinner.

SRF

The food was delicious!

SRF

And Thomas was happy to be a part of the celebration.

SRF

Mommy and Dadddy were thankful for the day as well :)

SRF

We all took turns staying with Thomas at the beach house, while some ventured out on walks,

SRF

others on bike rides,

SRF

while getting caught in the pouring down rain.

SRF

We were all together for the opportunity to meet the banjo picker Jesse Baker from Dailey and Vincent's band.

SRF

And we had the privilege to meet Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent after the concert Saturday night!

SRF

Ice-skating was a highlight of the trip,

SRF

and even Pookie could skate all by herself after a little practice.

SRF

Tortuga Jack's Mexican restaurant hit the spot after everyone worked up an appetite from ice-skating.

SRF

Nothing like borrowing big sister's Costa sunglasses :)

SRF

And there is always a reason to stop by Dairy Queen for a blizzard treat on the way back home...

We are thankful to the Lord for another year and pray He will watch over us and continue to bless us in 2016. Happy New Year!
