Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone
Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

SRF

This weekend we were busy planting the garden,

SRF

and horseback riding with some of the Naas family.

SRF

We were very excited to find a honey bee tree on our property. Rosie and Pookie enjoyed watching the bees flying back and forth to the hive.

SRF

We were brave enough to get a little closer for a picture :)

SRF

Before dinner the Naas and Green families enjoyed playing games,

SRF

and more games...

SRF

The little girls played sweetly with their sticker pads.

SRF

And before dusk, there's no better place to be...than high up in a tree.

Time for the first hay cutting!

SRF

Daniel helped Mr. Chalker rake hay in the past - now it's Joseph's turn.

SRF

I believe Thomas was watching Joseph and looking forward to the day when it would be his turn to drive the tractor.

SRF

There are always spectators waiting to see the first bale of the season :)

SRF

We've had a lot of fun playing with Charles and James and taking pretend boat rides,

SRF

climbing trees,

SRF

eating ice-cream cones,

SRF

snuggling uncles and aunts,

SRF

and taking pleasant spring rides on the golf cart!

SRF

This past weekend we spent time repairing the holes in the chicken coop, and the little girls enjoyed running back and forth carrying staples to Daddy.

SRF

Autumn Faith is indeed my affectionate little girl.

SRFJ

Joseph and Jeremy were thankful for a safe, adventuresome horseback ride down our dirt road,

SRF

and everyone listened intently to some of Daniel's business stories after dinner.

SRF

And once again the evening would not be complete without music...

SRF

What makes wrapping goat milk soap more fun? Sharing music, earphones,...

SRF

and sisterly love :)

SRF

Autumn Faith learned to ride without training wheels today because of the patience and persistence of her big brother Benjamin :) My baby girl is growing up...

My fern watering team in action :)

And today was great weather for enjoying each other's company on the front porch.

Anna Rose loves Grace to experiment with new fancy hairdo's.

SRF

Mr. Dave and the Green children performed Appalachian Mountain Music at Railroad Days this past Saturday.

SRF

Afterwards, the Green and Naas family grabbed some BBQ sandwiches for lunch and headed back home to enjoy the beautiful day and good fellowship together.

SRF

Crokinole is always a favorite because kids of all ages can play.

SRF

The little Greens thought playing with Jennifer was a lot of fun!

SRF

And Joseph snapped a selfie of himself, Jennifer, and Jeremy on horseback.

SRF

Then the two families trekked through the woods for a picture on the Shakerock.

SRF

Before dinner there was a little time for kayaking, canoeing, and floating away on the old dock...

Of course playing a little music together ("Southwind") brought closure to a delightful day...
