Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone
Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

SRF

We enjoyed visiting with Daniel, Caitlin, and the boys Sunday after church.

SRF

And my bowl of trucks and cars are still going strong after so many years...

SRF

James loves his Aunt Grace, especially when she shares her plate of Brownies a la mode.

SRF

And this evening Kenny led the younger Greens in a painting party for the old well house.

Today everyone worked hard digging trenches to lay wire and pipe...

SRF

for electricity and water down to the barn.

SRF

The girls helped with a picnic lunch and...

SRF

much needed water breaks.

Yesterday we visited The World of Coke and the Georgia Aquarium.

SRF

And we had lots of fun with our 4D glasses!

SRF

The highlight of the tour was tasting all the varieties of Coke from around the world. I believe Julieann really wasn't impressed with the samples by the look on her face :)

SRF

And the weather was overcast and 87 degrees, perfect for just strolling around the city of Atlanta.

SRF

After lunch at Johnny Rocket's Burger Joint, we headed to the aquarium.

SRF

These two giggly girls enjoyed themselves immensely.

SRF

Everyone learned quite a bit about both small...

SRF

and large sea animals. And Mama's favorite has always been the Beluga whales...

Carolyn and John worked together assembling a peach pie for our church's General Meeting this past weekend.

SRF

Weaving the dough before baking in the oven...

SRF

and the final product!

SRF

After lunch at the General Meeting, all the Green kids spent time visiting with friends before the afternoon service.

SRF

And Monday we had the privilege of playing with Charles and James while Caitlin went horseback riding. Of course the Green kids have to play "dress up" and Charles was such a good sport posing as an Indian.

SRF

And it's that time of year again...I was glad to see everyone taking their studies so seriously.

Rosie and Pookie enjoy working their school lessons in the other half of the school room :)
