Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

Julie and Rosie were Faith's MCG buddies today while...

she was waiting to have the green cast removed!

SRF

We are thankful that Dr. Cearley will be watching Faith for the next several months to make sure things are progressing like they should be:)

Gather with the saints at the river

Yesterday Autumn Faith had her first cast removed,

SRF

and the pins extracted (I love Nathaniel's inquisitive face).

.

SRF

Dr. Cearly explained that her injury was a little more complicated than we thought, so Faith is back in a cast for a couple more weeks :)  And it's a lovely shade of ... green...

Autumn Faith was Benjamin's assistant while rebuilding the porch column.

SRF

And the carpentry work is complete... Next step wood putty and paint.

SRF

My three sweet girls before church service this morning.

SRF

After Sunday worship service, the family enjoyed relaxing and watching the children hunt for eggs.

SRF

Charles was proud to show Grandma his egg collection.

SRF

Sweet "Pookie".

SRF

And one of the prize golden eggs was high in the pecan tree. Julieann and Nathaniel raced to claim it!

SRF

After all the eggs were found,

SRF

it was time for gathering on the front porch,

SRF

eating all the candy inside the eggs,

SRF

relaxing and talking,

SRF

sharing snuggles and

SRF

laffy taffy jokes.

SRF

Charles was tickled to hold and kiss all the baby chicks.

SRF

After a fried chicken and sides meal, the dessert buffet was ready for sampling.

SRF

Somehow everyone ends up piled on top of one another during rest time.

SRF

Time for the traditional family football game.

Grace caught the ball for a first down...

SRF

Charles and James love to fish,

SRF

so Daniel helped them both catch a bream. Today was a long day for everyone, but it was full of joy for all!
