Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone
Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

Sunday, March 30, 2014 - Happy 14th Birthday Joseph!

We are very thankful for the past 14 years with Joseph. He is growing into a fine, Christian young man, who is constantly watching out for the little ones and helping the family in many ways (including cooking up some good recipes in the kitchen with Carolyn). Joseph, we love you and are proud of you!

Visiting baby Charles

My "little Pookie" isn't so little anymore...

Three silly girls after our church fellowship meal.

Grace snapped a sweet shot of the girls with her new camera.

The Green children have learned to turn anything and everything into musical instruments, including Daddy's old saws from the barn.

Sweet sisterly love...

Today the Green children caught a salamander in the creek. I watched them make a habitat for their pet in a bucket, and play with it for quite some time. Then everyone decided to release it back into the creek before dinner. Rosie came running to me and said, "Mom, we let the "tattle tail" go."

I thought her description of the salamander was very cute...

Kids Play the Appling Opry from Kenny Green on Vimeo.

The Green children and Mr. Dave's band played at the Appling Opry last Saturday night. At the end of the evening, there was a jam session inviting all musicians to play together. We had a very enjoyable time!

Monday, March 10, 2014 - HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY GRACE!!!

Today we visited the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC to celebrate Grace's 11th birthday.

Grace had many opportunities to take pictures with her new camera.

Autumn Faith was a little hesitant about the big elephants, but she soon grew to love them.

All four boys and Daddy spent time climbing high above us before lunch.

Then it was time for a cool break.

The girls took a relaxing carousel ride,

while the boys climbed some more.

Somehow, Joseph always seems to bond with the birds...

We had a very enjoyable day, and thank the Lord for an energetic, artistic, and fun-loving Grace. We pray the Lord will continue to use her talents for His glory.

Poor Nathaniel! We had to administer surgery today on his big toenail due to an outside injury.

Nathaniel does not enjoy pain. It took several "assistants" to perform the surgery.

And he was in great distress during the entire ordeal...

A fun night running errands in Augusta with Carolyn and Joseph. Panera Bread dinner, pastries, and coffee made the evening extra special.

Enjoying the warm weather this weekend playing badmittion,

gazing at baby Charles,

and paddling in the boat on the pond. And yes, they all spotted me with the camera at the same time :)
