Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone
Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

Another old-farmhouse construction project: rebuilding the backporch.

Daddy, Joseph, and Benjamin have done a wonderful job instructing Thomas and Nathaniel.

And while Carolyn and Caitlin were wrapping soap for the Fall/Winter season,

the three "Aunts" happily kept Charles company.

I believe the girls were having a little too much fun trying on hats at the Grand-Opening of Gander Mountain.

On the other hand, the Green boys took the job of selecting a hat rather seriously.

And the little girls were content to be spectators.

This afternoon, some of the Green children picked wildflowers in the horse pasture to brighten up our kitchen. I believe Rosie was still lost in wildflower "dreamland".

We celebrated the first day of Fall with a warm, chocolate, oatmeal pie.

And it was thoroughly enjoyed by all...

While some of the Green children were in the canoe with Daddy after dinner,

the rest of the family was visiting and playing with Charles.

Joseph took charge of making blondies for tonight's after dinner dessert.

A few "extra" dark chocolate chips are always thrown into the batter.

And the evidence is clear who volunteered to fetch the chocolate chips from the pantry :)

The girls enjoyed a game of Putt-Putt golf this morning before our afternoon shopping.

I believe we spent more time looking for lost balls and balls that became stuck in the putting green obstacle course.

For some reason, Autumn Faith thought her ball should belong in the alligator's mouth.

Daddy, Mommy, and all the Green girls are enjoying Myrtle Beach during another one of Daddy's work conferences.

Fuddrucker's hamburgers are a Myrtle Beach tradition for our family.

The weather was a little cooler today, so we took advantage of the indoor pool this evening. The girls are now exhausted and tucked away in bed, looking forward to a little shopping tomorrow while Daddy is at the conference.

Today Grace made homemade Baklava for our fellowship meal after church tomorrow.

Sliced with a drizzle of honey on top.

And it's that time of year for restocking our goat milk soap shelves. Today Autumn Faith helped Carolyn wrap one of our soothing fall soaps with vanilla.

Back in Savannah for another conference...

Monday, September 8, 2014 - HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY CAROLYN!

Today we celebrated Carolyn's 18th birthday! We are very thankful that the Lord has blessed us with such a fine, young, Christian woman who continues to nurture and care for others with a servant's heart. We love you Carolyn, and pray the Lord will continue to bless you richly this year...
