Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone
Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

Saturday evening was a pleasant one at Daniel and Caitlin's house for our annual bonfire and cookout. Grace enjoyed taking pictures of our happy, fun-loving Charles.

Caitlin had the table organized and ready to go,

but it took a little while before the guys got the bonfire going full force. Notice Charles cheering his Daddy on...

In the meantime, the Green children enjoyed playing with puppies,

and holding sweet James.

And the best part of the night was sitting around the campfire roasting S'mores and talking together as a family. A wonderful evening!

Today the little girls decided to help collect pecans...

Julieann was very pleased with her bucket.

However, Anna Rose's bucket remained empty.

Maybe because she used it as a chair spectating,

or spent most of her time sitting on doggies,

or hiding in the house holdng sweet little James...

Pookie's school time...

Saturday, October 24, 2015

The past week has been a busy one for the Green family. My lovely children brought me a snake and a turtle,

Grammy and Grandpa visited to celebrate October birthdays,

and we packaged deer sausage and deer steaks for the freezer.

This is how my sweet Julieann looked last night before bed :)

And this time of the year, Mr. Dave and the Green children have played at numerous fall gigs,

including an Old West Festival in Augusta.

Tuesday, October 20, 2015 - Happy Birthday Thomas !!!

Today we celebrated Thomas' 11th birthday at the Georgia-Carolina Fair. Thomas loves bumper cars and so does the rest of the Green family.

I believe Joseph and Carolyn were discussing strategy before the ride began.

The faces tell everything...

including Daddy's face. Some of the rides made Kenny a little queasy:)

Benjamin received the award for the "King of Momentum" on the slide.

Autumn Faith wasn't tall enough for the swings last year, so this year she gave the ride a try and LOVED it!

And yes, even Mama enjoyed a ride or two...

Joseph shot a nice 8 point buck Saturday afternoon on the opening day of rifle season.

The boys stopped by Daniel and Caitlin's house and discovered Daniel had shot a buck too. Little brother was definitely proud of his big deer:) Lots of deer meat for the winter freezer.
