Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

A great day for gathering pecans...

Saturday, October 20, 2018 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY THOMAS !!!

Today we celebrated Thomas' 14th Birthday. We are very thankful for Thomas' dependability and eagerness to help others. Thomas is a blessing to so many and we pray the Lord continues to bless him this year.

And Friday, Mama and Daddy had to begin our road trip visiting Carolyn and stocking up with some pastries from The Square Cafe in Washington, Ga.

Ready for sweater weather :)

Yep... Sometimes it takes a little while to get going on Monday mornings...

And there's nothing like encouraging "guy talk" with the Pastor on Sunday afternoons...

Saturday, October 13, 2018 - Happy 7th Birthday Autumn Faith!

Today we celebrated Autumn Faith's birthday with a pleasant day at Mule Days in Washington, Ga. Our sweet, baby girl is growing up into a fine, young lady with a smile on her face at all times :)

Yesterday, the girls spent time in the kitchen preparing Faith's birthday cake.

Julieann did a wonderful job decorating the cake!

Picnicking and spending time with family and friends at Mule Days.

And Charles offered MaryAnne a french fry, but she was content gnawing on Aunt Grace's finger :)

Mr. Dave and the kids played in front of the old, one-room schoolhouse and took breaks for some fun as well...

Joseph and some friends spent  time jamming together on the front porch after all the festivities were over.

Flying kites in the post-hurricane wind.

What do the children do after the morning worship service and lunch?

They take a little break with skates, scooters, and ripsticks.

Some of us enjoyed watching from the porch.

Julie, Rosie, and Faith helped some of the little girls put together a puzzle before the afternoon meeting began.

And our tradition on the long ride home is to stop for an ice cream treat :)  We are thankful for a wonderful and encouraging weekend.

Friday, October 5, 2018 - HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY BENJAMIN !

We celebrated Benjamin's birthday today with an uplifting church meeting and a fun, family evening at home :)  We are thankful for Benjamin's work ethic and his drive to tackle any project positively that might come his way.  We pray the Lord blesses him richly this year!

Yesterday we enjoyed spending time with Caitlin, Charles, James, and MaryAnne.

This little Miss has the prettiest smile!

And I remember my Maa Maa on my father's side treating me to chocolate-covered bananas whenever we visited her in Charleston, SC. And now I'm giving my grandchildren the same special treat :)
