October - November 2008

Sweet and Lovable, a Delight to Everyone Julieann, the eighth of the Green children, was born May 2, 2008. A delightful baby from the beginning, Julieann quickly stole the hearts of Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. In late October 2008, our precious girl was diagnosed with infantile spasms, a rare form of epilepsy. As her illness unfolded, we began documenting her progress on this page so that friends and family would know specifically how to pray for her. We are so thankful to the Lord that her outcome so far is very good. For now, Julieann is seizure-free. We know that the seizures could return tomorrow, or in 10 years - so please continue to pray for her.

Wednesday, June 30, 2021 - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Goodbye Jekyll Island, until next May when, Lord willing, the whole family will be visiting together again. Thanks for 20 years of cherished memories. And thank you for our first trip alone to the island, just Mama and Daddy to celebrate 31 years of marriage. We will forever be grateful for this island that we hold dear to our hearts...

Turnipseed Company Picnic!

Time to kick up some heels for the Hoedown :)

Grace and Mr. Ben played a game of ping pong before lunch.

And Julieann helped all the little children pet the farm animals.
Julieann's hand is in a splint due to an unbelievable encounter with a rat snake.  We found a 6 foot rat snake in our yard earlier this week. Nathaniel was trying to relocate the snake away from under our house.  He picked the snake up by the tail and flung it into the cow pasture.  Julieann just happened to be in the way and the snake wrapped his body around both her legs tripping her up so that she fell to the ground on her tummy.  While she was calling for help, the snake bit her leg before finally releasing his grip. When I ran to help her up off the ground, she complained of her pinky and wrist painfully hurting. And sure enough, she broke her pinky from the snake ordeal! She is one brave girl :)
